The Whirlpool brand will soon be the Official Kitchen and Laundry Appliance brand of Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.
Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts are receiving Whirlpool brand appliances for select Disney Vacation Club Villas. The appliances will include dishwashers, refrigerators, clothes washers and dryers, microwave ovens, and cooktops.
Whirlpool kitchen appliances will be used for culinary demonstrations at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival as well as the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival.
“As a leader in their industry, Whirlpool is a household name that has been helping consumers care for their families for over a century,” Carols Castro, Vice President of Disney Corporate Alliances said. “Introducing Whirlpool’s thoughtfully designed appliances into our Disney Vacation Club properties will give guests the perfect opportunity to experience Whirlpool products first-hand.”
Whirlpool will also be partnering with Disney Digital network to create custom food and cooking content throughout Disney’s family of digital networks (maybe even on the upcoming Disney streaming service??).
